Capital Projects Overview

What is a Parks Capital Project?

Generally, capital projects are fixed in nature, have a relatively long life expectancy, and require a substantial financial investment. Capital projects undertaken by the Parks & Recreation Department may include activities such as building a new skate park, renovating a public pool, or making improvements to public playgrounds.
