Relief for Families, Essential and Frontline Workers, and Small Businesses

The City has allocated $8.47 million over four years across the following four subcategories.

Small and Legacy Businesses Revolving Micro-Loan Program

Funding provides business planning, underwriting, loan preparation, and loan assistance to support existing small businesses, businesses owned by socially and economically disadvantaged entrepreneurs, and businesses with fewer than ten employees. Includes funds to select an entity to administer the City’s Revolving Loan Fund Program.

Small Business Programs

Funding for partner organization(s) to develop and implement this program that provides meaningful assistance, relief, and support for small Tucson-based businesses working to recover and become more resilient.

Energy Retrofits for Homes and Businesses

Funding for qualified partner(s) to develop and implement a program to use grant funds to provide financial support for energy retrofit programs for homes and businesses.

Partnership for City-wide Volunteer Management Network

Creates a single resource/network for information, coordination, and/or access to all volunteer services available inside the city.
