Project Name: Forrester Park/Three Weirs Park ADA Improvements
Community Projects
This project will include improvements to Town owned facilities and infrastructure in the public right of way, to provide ADA access at Forrester and Three Weir Parks as required by law. Before any work is undertaken staff will conduct meetings with the neighborhood and interested stakeholders to allow for debate and discussion of the proposed improvements that the Town is required to provide required under ADA regulations.
This project received TDA-3 grant funding in the amount of $160,000.

Design Option 2 Revised(Chosen):
• Using existing landscape area for stall.
• Connects to existing ADA ramps
• Will begin at edge of parking shoulder.
• Cannot move further south due to streetlight and crosswalk.
Design Option 3 New
• 1 parking stall
• Retaining wall & hand rails required for ramp to bridge.
• No stairs
• Dark concrete for parking stall
• Approximately 1 tree to be removed.
Design Option 4 New:
• No Parking Stall & Remove Street Parking
• Retaining wall & hand rail required for ramp to bridge
• Approximately 1 tree to be removed.
• Remove asphalt shoulder, replace with dirt/mulch or other alternative.
• Paint curb red
