Transfers and Resource Management encompasses transfers to other funds and the operating costs of the Resource Management department, and is located within the General Fund.
FY26
In FY26, the Transfers budget for the General Fund is $44.2 million. This includes $8 million to the City’s transit fund, StarMetro, $7.7 million to the Consolidated Dispatch Agency, $6.4 million to the Downtown and the Southside Frenchtown Community Redevelopment Agencies. The remaining transfers fund debt service ($6.9 million), the Capital Improvement Fund ($5.3 million), and transfers for gun violence and insurance reserves ($2 million).
