PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The project enables the installation and operation of the utility's first large-scale battery energy storage system (BESS) along with several critical grid hardening enhancements. Primary goals of this project include improving grid resilience and operational flexibility while lowering the utility's carbon footprint, that can be replicated elsewhere on the City's electric grid.
