PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This project provides funding for the small-scale maintenance, repair and replacement of deteriorated underground and overhead transmission and distribution facilities. This project also provides funding for the inspection and treatment of all wood distribution and transmission poles and attachments, the management of trees and other vegetation growing under overhead power lines, and planning and development activities associated with the City Smart Grid/Automated Distribution initiatives.
