PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This master project funds subprojects that ensure the City’s water production system operates effectively, efficiently, and reliably. It supports the operation and maintenance of Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) filters at six potable water well sites, which remove organic contaminants from the water supply. In addition, funding supports ongoing maintenance and upgrades to well and tank facilities, pumping and chemical systems, buildings, and safety systems. It also provides for major upcoming projects as well as unexpected needs like pump and motor replacements, ensuring the continued safety and reliability of the City’s water infrastructure.
