The City of Tallahassee continues to fine new ways to be a competitive, innovative, and sustainable regional economic hub. Through certain assets, such as the Tallahassee International Airport, City leadership can strategically utilize the Capital Improvement Plan to significantly impact the annual economic impact, such as with the International Passenger Processing Facility and many other infrastructure improvements to the facility.
City infrastructure, such as local parking garages and local Community Centers, must also be enhanced and modernized to ensure community residents and visitors have easy access to local businesses, parks, and other facilities. It is essential to provide the needed infrastructure to continue to support not only existing businesses and facilities, but to also plan and welcome opportunities for new ventures.
