Objective 1: Engage businesses and industries to build relationships for immidiate and future workforce needs.



This report tracks the number of interns employed by the city per fiscal quarter.


The city understand that partnering with organizations is important to fill unexpected voids and/or meet certain labor demands to deliver excellent public service. That is why the city strives to partner with organizations equiped and able to supply the city with talent if needed.

Objective 2: Improve employee development by incorporating organizational values and providing opportunities for professional growth.



Employee safety is of upmost important to the city. The city strives to provide a safe work environment and would like to track its progress by seeing the number of insurance claims reduce year over year.


Without a properly trained staff, the city would be unable to deliver excellent public service. With that in mind, the city established the position of the Training Coordinator to provide staff with training programs to help advance their skill. The city would like to, at the mininum, hold two (2) citywide training a year.


This report tracks the satisfaction level of employees with the training received from the city.

Objective 3: Attract and retain a qualified and diverse workforce



Retention of talent is an objective of the City's Strategic Plan. Currently, the City has a 17% turnover rate. The city would like to lower that rate to 12%. The above report shows the reasoning for turnover per Fiscal Quarters.
