Notable Changes
- 5% across the board salary adjustment for non-licensed (service) scale employees.
Building Services
- Projected increase in building utilities of $385k.
- Projected increase in insurance costs of $135k.
- Projected increases in contracted services with vendors (custodial, parts, etc.) of approximately 6% to account for CPI increase of approximately 7% over the past year.
- Capital outlay increase accounts for cyclic replacement of four (4) maintenance trucks (greater than 125,000 miles) and equipment / mowers.
Vehicle Services
- An increase in estimated vehicle maintenance costs of $13k.
Warehouse and Distribution
- New personnel were hired at a lower rate resulting in compensation and benefits savings.
- A new warehouse was required. The new warehouse lease increased by $70k; however, the space is larger and provides an additional training for potential bus drivers.
