New Materials, Purchase Requests, and More!
We provide materials for patrons as fast as we can! This month, 787 titles were rushed to fill patron holds!
Book Club Service & Interlibrary Loan
Our Book Club Service makes it easy to select titles and run book club discussions. Everything you need is right at your fingertips. You provide the Book Club – we’ll do the rest! Click HERE for more information about our Book Club Service!
We provided 387 items for 38 community book clubs this month. We also added one new club this month!
Interlibrary Loan is the ability to get our patrons materials that are not available at our library or within the SWAN consortium. This month, we received the following items for patrons:
- 130 items were borrowed for our patrons
- 69 items were lent to libraries around the country

Book Discussion: 2nd Tuesday Book Discussion groups read Maus. A Survivor's Tale: I, My Father Bleeds history by Art Spiegelman and Persepolis: The Story of A Childhood by Marjane Satrapi

This month, Youth Services issued 12 museum passes.

Needle Felted Acorns - Grab 'n' Go Kit
In November, 106 happy patrons enjoyed our festive acorn grab 'n go kit to learn the craft of needle felting.
All the materials were provided to create several acorns, including acorn caps, wool fiber in a variety of colors, a felting foam pad and a felt needle.
Detailed instructions were included to help patrons create the lovely assortment of acorns, along with a small wooden bowl to add to their home’s fall décor.
Adult Outreach Programs
This month, the Adult Outreach team delivered 1,039 non-circulating and 916 circulating items to patrons and facilities in our community. Also, 17 circulating items were mailed out.
Youth Outreach Programs
This month, Youth Services selected 165 items to support classrooms for 10 teacher in the St. Charles community. Teachers in our area can request library materials and learn more about our teacher outreach HERE.
