(Interlibrary Loan is the ability to get our patrons materials that are not available at our library or within our SWAN consortium. *Please note: Due to the way they are collected, our interlibrary loan statistical numbers are always one month behind.)
Book Club Service
Our Book Club Service makes it easy to select titles and run book club discussions. Everything you need is right at your fingertips. You provide the Book Club – we’ll do the rest!
Currently we have 58 registered clubs (including library groups).

Fast track New Materials & Purchase Requests
We provide materials for patron holds as fast as we can!
- We expedited 550 items for patrons in February.
- Some popular new titles added this month include:
- A Court of Silver Flames by Sarah J. Maas (Young Adult)
- Ground Zero by Alan Gratz (Youth)
- Claudette Colvin by Lesa Cline-Ransome (She Persisted Series) (Youth)
- If an item fits our collection guidelines, we will order items for patrons based upon requests.
- 36 items were ordered to fill patron requests!

Winter Reading was a success this year with 96 children registering and 62 finishing—that’s a 64.5% completion rate for this program held during a pandemic!
Online Advertising for Social Media
An extremely popular adult program during the month of February was Online Advertising for Social Media, receiving 412 views on YouTube.
This program from Mike Gershbein of VerySmartPeople, teaches the best options for advertising online, how to create your ad and targeting potential clients.

Adult Outreach Programs
Outreach Services delivered the February Valentines Day kit to eight senior facilities.
The kit featured presentations that facility directors could lead with the residents, tactile and sensory activities, and fun giveaways for each resident.
Youth Outreach Programs
Our Youth Outreach Librarian conducted 24 Virtual Preschool Outreach storytimes with 8 schools this month, with 714 people attending.
Sled Dogs on the Lawn!
Sled Dogs on the Lawn drew an amazing crowd of 148 people, who all wore masks and stayed socially distant.
The Free Spirit Sled Dog Demo Team showed off the finer art of mushing and answered so many questions. The dogs were friendly, well-behaved and of course, adorable.
