We provide materials for patrons as fast as we can! This month, 837 titles were rushed to fill patron holds!
Book Club Service & Interlibrary Loan
Our Book Club Service makes it easy to select titles and run book club discussions. Everything you need is right at your fingertips. You provide the Book Club – we’ll do the rest! Click HERE for more information about our Book Club Service!
We provided 304 items for 32 community book clubs this month .
Interlibrary Loan is the ability to get our patrons materials that are not available at our library or within the SWAN consortium. This month, we recieved the following items for patrons:
- 85 items were borrowed for our patrons
- 105 items were lent to libraries around the country

Youth General Programs
Painted Wildflower Cookie Workshop
Our patrons enjoyed an afternoon of crafting beautiful hand-painted wildflower cookies with fondant and edible watercolors.
Adult Outreach Programs
This month, the Adult Outreach team delivered 1,662 non-circulating and 858 circulating items to patrons and facilities in our community. Also, 13 circulating items were mailed out.
Youth Outreach Programs
With summer still in full swing, our Youth Services team planned ways to support classrooms in the St. Charles community during the upcoming school year. Teachers in our area can request library materials and learn more about our teacher outreach HERE.
Our first Summer Reading program in the newly renovated building was a success!
The Youth Services program had 2,002 registrants who completed a combined total of 1,766,505 minutes read, surpassing our goal of 1 million by almost double!!
We had 13 teen volunteers who contributed a total of 58 service hours, assisting staff and patrons to make for such a successful summer.
