We provide materials for patrons as fast as we can! This month, 978 titles were rushed to fill patron holds!
Book Club Service & Interlibrary Loan
Our Book Club Service makes it easy to select titles and run book club discussions. Everything you need is right at your fingertips. You provide the Book Club – we’ll do the rest! Click HERE for more information about our Book Club Service!
We provided 365 items for 41 community book clubs this month (two new community book clubs were added to our roster this month). Popular titles this month:

- All Adults Here by Emma Straub
- It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover
Interlibrary Loan is the ability to get our patrons materials that are not available at our library or within the SWAN consortium. This month, we recieved the following items for patrons:
- 95 items were borrowed for our patrons
- 194 items were lent to libraries around the country

"Not" All By Myself: When Pop Steals from the Classics
Classical music has been inspiring pop music for decades through its melodies and chord progressions. The St. Charles Public Library hosted a new collaboration from singer AnDrea James and pianist Valerie Bollero to explore the connection between the classics and some of our greatest pop songs.
Adult Outreach Programs
This month, the Adult Outreach team delivered 1,081 non-circulating and 877 circulating items to patrons and facilities in our community. Also, 21 circulating items were mailed out.
Youth Outreach Programs
This month, Youth Services selected 31 items to support classrooms for 4 teachers in the St. Charles community. Interested teachers can request materials and learn more HERE.
Bubble Dance Party: Summer Reading Begins!
We had 94 patrons attend our Bubble Dance party on May 31!
It was the first day of Summer Reading and we lots of families in the library. We signed up 976 children for Summer Reading. The Program runs from Tuesday, May 31 to Sunday, July 31.
