We provide materials for patrons as fast as we can!
Book Club Service & Interlibrary Loan
Our Book Club Service makes it easy to select titles and run book club discussions. Everything you need is right at your fingertips. You provide the Book Club – we’ll do the rest! Click HERE for more information about our Book Club Service!
We provided 496 items for 52 community book clubs this month. We also added two new club this month!
Interlibrary Loan is the ability to get our patrons materials that are not available at our library or within the SWAN consortium. This month, we received the following items for patrons:
- 162 items were borrowed for our patrons
- 149 items were lent to libraries around the country

The SCPLD YouTube Channel has 37,402 lifetime views as of April 2023
Youth General Programs
This month, Youth Services issued 24 museum passes.

National Poetry Month
On a Friday night in April, talented members of our community came together to share their original poems at our first poetry reading.
It was an evening of vibrant poetry filled with human emotion as we celebrated National Poetry Month.
Adult Outreach Programs
This month, the Adult Outreach team delivered 1,615 non-circulating and 1,055 circulating items to patrons and facilities in our community. Also, 26 circulating items were mailed out.
Youth Outreach Programs
This month, Youth Services selected 138 items to support classrooms for 10 teacher in the St. Charles community. Teachers in our area can request library materials and learn more about our teacher outreach HERE.
Starrytime
We had 49 views in April. This is an amazing number for a recorded storytime on YouTube! Enjoy a new story on the first Tuesday of the month!

FireFly Family Theater Presents: Grow!
We had 47 attendees join Spark the Firefly and all her friends as they learned about plants, what they need to grow and patience!
