We Are:
A Local Improvement District (LID) is a method by which a group of property owners can share in the cost of public infrastructure or improvements.
The LID Guarantee Fund was established by ordinance to provide additional security for local improvement district bondholders.
LID Funds are considered Fiduciary or Agency Funds. These funds are used to account for resources held for the benefit of parties outside the government. The resources of these funds are not available to support the City of Sandpoint's own programs.

There is one remaining active Local Improvement District remaining. LID #32 was created for sewer improvements to North Boyer Road, the associated debt repayment schedule is from 2000 to 2029.
