We Are:

The Streets and Sidewalk Projects service group is comprised of an administrator, engineer, project manager, inspector, and assistant. Our streets superintendent is intimately involved in every capital project, providing essential boots on the ground knowledge to the overall success of the projects.

We Do:

  • Work closely with Central Services to obtain funding and procure improvement projects
  • Assess needs for replacement and maintenance of infrastructure
  • Engage vendors and consultants to assist with developing/designing solutions that meet or exceed industry standards
  • Solicit and manage construction contracts to complete work
  • Actively monitor project budgets and quality to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and specifications
  • Keep the public informed about project progress
  • Coordinate with other service groups and agencies
  • Mitigate risks related to costs, safety, and quality
