Division Overview

San Benito County supports operations and maintenance of a County parks system. The parks provide residents with personal, economic, environmental, and social benefits as well as providing a major role in enhancing the livability of San Benito County. Two budget units hold the operational data for the two main parks in the County parks system.


Veteran's Memorial Park (1300) - The park provides areas for softball, baseball and soccer activities to the community. There are also barbecue areas across from the sports field available to the community to rent. This provides places and recreation opportunities for the community to enjoy that are safe and promote health, well-being and positive social interaction.


Historical Park (1305) - The Historical Park consists of a diverse collection of historical homes, buildings, vehicles, farm implements and more showcasing the early days of San Benito County. The park also includes trails, picnic areas for rent, playground and camping that provides places and recreation opportunities for the community to enjoy that are safe and promote health, well-being and positive social interaction.
