To lead the San Benito County Operational Areas collective efforts to protect life, property, the environment by developing, coordinating, and managing programs that prevent, protect, respond to, recover from, and mitigate natural and man-made disasters and emergencies.

• Drafted Cooling Center Plan
• Drafted PSPS Plan
• Managed Great Plates Delivered program
• Ordered and distributed PPE to County and partner agencies
• Successfully managed several local emergencies, including the COVID-19 pandemic, with the EOC activated with Duty Officer status for over a year.
• Maintained grant management responsibilities with the addition of 2 new grants

• Upgrade to our current Emergency Operations Center (EOC)
• Training for all EOC personnel
• Retaining staff

• Relocate Alternate Dispatch Center to Sheriff’s Dept.
• Remodel for a warm EOC
• Provide training for EOC personnel
