County Service Area department believes the residents of San Benito County should expect equal, efficient, and high quality customer service for all County Service areas despite size or location. County Service Areas are designed to provide services to communities built outside City limits.

Top Departmental Concerns
- Short staffed for increased demand from Community Facilitated Districts and County Service Areas; need one more staff member.
- Need of contracts for small jobs; need of grounds keeper or handyman to provide excellent customer service to residents.
Long Range Planning Goals (3-5 years) For Department
- Increase staff by one full-time employee to provide customer service to residents
- Hire handyman to help with everyday issues with CSAs and CFDs
- Have CSAs’ assessment cover all expenses with enough funding for CIP
