OVERVIEW

Heatherwood was formed in February of 1988 and is located in the unincorporated area of the County of San Benito, south of John Smith Road, north of Airline Highway, east of Fairview Road and west of Best Road. Portion of Heatherwood is located east Best Road, north of Airline Highway and south of John Smith Road. It has 48 parcels, all of which are developed residential.

SERVICES

Services provided by CSA No. 28 to Heatherwood include payment of utilities to PG&E for street lighting, storm drainage improvements, and road maintenance. Storm drainage improvements and services include, but are not limited to, the maintenance of drainage ditches and detention ponds, and the cleaning of storm drainage boxes within Heatherwood. Maintenance may include:

• Mow weeds seasonally using a beater tractor

• Trim weeds

• Clean inlets and outlets

• Grade to restore flow-lines

• Rip detention ponds for improved percolation

• Remove trees and brush

• Remove trash and litter

• Rodent control

Road Maintenance may include asphalt patching, chip or slurry seal as required, and repair of street signs (graffiti and other vandalism).
