(3330) Drainage Impact Fee

The purpose of the Drainage Impact Fee is to construct storm drainage facilities identified in the Santa Ana Creek Drainage Plan necessitated in whole or in part by new development to prevent inundation during a 100-year flood. The fee is based on the projected amount of development that will occur in the Santa Ana

Creek drainage basin and the estimated cost of the improvements, as established in County Ordinance No. 529 (San Benito County Code Sections 5.01.020-.025). The fee is applicable to all new building permits issued in the Santa Ana Creek fee benefit area and was recently updated to reflect changes in drainage improvement construction costs.
