Division Overview

The Unified Narcotics Enforcement Team (UNET) is a multi-agency drug task force made up of staff from the Sheriff’s Office, Hollister Police Department, California Highway Patrol and commanded by a member of the California Department of Justice. The UNET’s primary responsibility is the investigation of all drug related offences in not only our local community, but the tri-county community. UNET’s aggressive stance on drug enforcement has been effective in the seizure of large quantities of illegal drugs and firearms.

  • Eradicated 26,054 illegal marijuana plant and 2,211.7 lbs. processed marijuana
  • 38 Firearms seized
  • 41 total arrests for illegal drugs / guns
  • Added the Special Intelligence Unit (SIU) to work with agents
