(1100) Community Programs Division

This unit primarily allocates to private non-profit community-based organizations providing services to the most vulnerable individuals and families in San Benito County. Beginning Fiscal Year 2017/2018, The Board of Supervisors modified this program. The Board froze the allocation for $120,000 and segregated it into two sections, including a senior-based program allocation and other non-profits. During the recommended budget in FY 2021/2022, the Board of Supervisors eliminated the grant to other non-profits, allocated a 3% increase to senior services, and directed further increases to align with the Consumer Price Index in the following years.
