Fund Overview
The fish and game fund is financed through the collection of fines for violations of the California State Fish and Game Code within the County. Under the direction of the Board of Supervisors an advisory committee provides recommendations for the use of funding for various expenditures related to protecting, conserving, propagating, and preserving fish and wildlife.
