OVERVIEW

Riverview Estates was formed in July of 1999 and is located in the unincorporated area of the County of San Benito, southeast of Hospital Road and west of Southside Road. Riverview Estates has 59 parcels: 56 developed residential and 3 open space.

SERVICES

Services provided by CSA No. 53 to Riverview Estates include payment of utilities, storm drainage improvements, road maintenance, and landscape maintenance. Utility payments include paying PG&E for street lighting and paying the City of Hollister for irrigation water. Storm drainage improvements and services include, but are not limited to, the maintenance of drainage ditches and detention ponds, and the cleaning of storm drainage boxes within Riverview Estates. Maintenance may include:

• Mow weeds seasonally using a beater tractor

• Trim weeds

• Clean inlets and outlets

• Grade to restore flow-lines

• Rip detention ponds for improved percolation

• Remove trees and brush

• Remove trash and litter

• Rodent and mosquito control

Road Maintenance may include asphalt patching, chip or slurry seal as required, and repair of street signs (graffiti and other vandalism). Landscape maintenance is contracted to a third party. The scope of service may include mowing of lawns, edging, trimming, irrigation, removal of derbis, pest control, aeration of soil, maintaining bedding and planted areas; irrigation systems; foot paths, and semi-improved areas.
