Core Services Provided
The Wastewater Treatment Plant is responsible for providing the following core services for the City of Salida, Town of Poncha Springs and the surrounding areas:
- Safe and effective disposal of household, commercial, septage and other approved wastes
- Monitor wastewater to ensure the system is not contributing to the degradation of the ground water or the Arkansas River.
