Uptown Streetscape Enhancements
The proposed Streetscape project will include pedestrian enhancements to provide safe and comfortable access to retailers and downtown open space amenities, such as Bicentennial Triangle. It will improve Uptown's aesthetics with added landscaping, planters, and new furniture.
Uptown Plain City will look much different come 2022. The first phase of the project commenced in October 2021 and the next phases are scheduled to follow. The Streetscape project is one of many efforts by the Village to revitalize the Uptown and create a vibrant, welcoming public space.
