For families and individuals experiencing homelessness, shelter is often the first step toward ending their homelessness providing safety and stability. Offering diverse types of shelter, which prioritize the needs of individuals and families, while connecting them with services, is key to helping people become housed.

Note: The City of Phoenix fiscal calendar begins July 1st and ends June 30th. Family Shelters serve households with at least one adult and minor. Singles Shelters serve individuals or households with no minors.
