Welcome to the Phoenix Police Department Traffic Citations Dashboard

The Phoenix Police Department (PPD) is committed to serving and protecting each person in our community while treating everyone with dignity and respect. Part of that commitment, and our pledge towards increased transparency, is providing community members with access to data regarding interactions between officers and the community.

Traffic citations issued and demographic charts from January 1, 2018 through August 2025* are available to explore using the menu above or clicking on the icons below. The Full Dataset is available on the city’s Open Data Portal.

Every interaction with police is unique. Data alone cannot capture an officer’s training, experience, or the totality of the circumstances of that moment; however, data does provide trends we can learn from. We encourage you to review the data as a partner in our efforts to better inform and serve you each and every day.

*Note: We want to inform our users that updates to this dataset is currently unavailable from September 9, 2025, forward. The city is actively working with our partners to restore regular data publishing and is committed to resuming monthly updates as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. Our goal is to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of the data we provide. Please check back for updates and thank you for your continued interest in open data.

Your feedback is important to us.

Please take a moment to share your candid feedback.

We encourage you to frequent this dashboard as we continue to make enhancements.
