The Pasco County BCC acquired the Detention Center in FY 2023; along with the acquisition, the voter approved expansion to the Detention Center continues to be a priority of the Board. The Detention Center expansion is expected to be finished in late 2024; the 46 positions noted below will ensure there is adequate staffing when the expansion is completed.
