The State of Oklahoma uses purchase cards, often called P-cards, to facilitate state business. The card are carefully monitored and users, approvers and auditors participate in extensive initial and on-going training. They are held accountable for each transaction, which must be carefully documented. All transactions are audited monthly and agencies' spending is regularly audited as well.
