As-Needed Citywide Emergency Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation

These emergency on-call projects will rehabilitate the sanitary sewer system on an as-needed basis to repair acute defect pipes within one year of identification and other sewer main defects, and infiltration and inflow sources in compliance with the Consent Decree requirement.
As-Needed Sanitary Sewer Root Foaming FY23-25

Under the Consent Decree, the City is required to reduce infiltration to the sanitary sewer system and thereby reduce the discharge of untreated sewage into local creeks, lakes, and the Bay. In support of a regional program, this annual program will fund root foaming of selected sewer pipes (TBD) at various locations throughout the City.
