Performance Dashboard
Overview
The mission of the Communications Division is to serve as trusted and respected professionals who tell the City's story, engage the community and build civic pride.
This dashboard features both performance goals and output measures. Departments set performance goals that support their Core Service Areas. These goals are tracked and measured to ensure high quality service delivery to our residents. Output measures report on the level of service delivery (number of work orders completed, number of acres mowed).

Goal: Lead the City's efforts to offer opportunities for residents to connect with their City and other residents.
Measure: Increase downloads of the North RePort app by 500 annually.
North RePort is an app that empowers residents to report issues and see them get fixed. It's the fastest and easiest way to connect with the City and get results.

Measure: Increase number of service tickets submitted throug the North RePort app.
The City is interested in increasing usage of the app to encourage an efficient reporting method that enables easy tracking of problem resolution.
Measure: Expand number of followers across social media platforms by 3%.

Goal: Evaluate plans and create opportunities to broaden communication services to the public.
The Communications Division provides timely and accurate information to our media partners. The City would like to grow our interactions with local media so that residents are able to stay informed on relevant topics and celebrate the good news we want to share.
Measure: Increase media contacts, including proactive media pitches.
Measure: Grow the number of downloads/listens of the City podcast.
Goal: Improve 24-7 access to City services through enhanced website portal and related online forms and services.
Measure: Increase website traffic and engagement.
This is a new metric for the Communications Division and a target will be set once initial data is reviewed.
