Why We Exist
Street cleaning and sweeping of the citys streets, alleys and gutters in order to keep them free of dirt, debris, and pollutants contributing to the aesthetics, health, and the sanitation of the City of Durango.

What We Do
- Sweep all streets and hard surfaced alleys
- Spring and Fall cleanup operations
- Removal of illegal dumping in city rights of way
- Removal of dead animals from city streets
FY2021 Strategic Accomplishments
Effective Infrastructure Network
Improve safety and connectivity for all modes of transportation:
- Swept 11,480 miles
- Removed 3,897 cubic yards during Spring cleanup
- Removed 1,728 cubic yards during Fall cleanup
- Removed 27 illegal dumps
- Completed 31 special pickups
