PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This project consists of the replacement of the master flow control valve located in the Green Trails Water Tank. This valve controls the flow of water entering the Village's water system and was installed in 1992. The valve is remotely controlled by the Village's SCADA system, and is the last of the master flow control valves to be replaced at the Village's rate control stations.

OPERATING IMPACT

The master flow control valve will require routine exercising to ensure proper operation.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES / STATUS

This project will install the master control valve at the Green Trails Water Tank and complete improvements identified in the the Village's 2020 Water Systems Assessment.
