PROJECT DESCRIPTION

During a routine video inspection of sanitary sewers, it was determined that there are defects in the sanitary sewer on Main Street from Short Street to Lincoln Avenue. There are thirteen residences served by this sewer line. This project includes the preparation of contract documents and construction of the sanitary sewer replacement. The scaling and mineral deposits on the ductile iron pipe prevents cured in place lining, and the pipe will need to be replaced.

OPERATING IMPACT

Ongoing operational maintenance of the sewer main will remain such as televising and cleaning, but the rehabilitation will ensure reduced major maintenance costs.
