PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The project would include the remodel of the existing locker room at the 4905 building, which is heavily used by public works employees. The Public Works Department conducts work out of two buildings located at 4905 and 4907 Yackley Avenue. These buildings were constructed in the 1980’s and have remained relatively unchanged since that time. The current age of the building and operational needs warrant facility improvements to provide for a safe and productive work environment that meets current regulations.

Operating impacts to the budget to be determined in the future.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES / STATUS

Design engineering for the improvements to be constructed in the summer of 2023 is in progress. This project would improve the Public Works employee locker room with new fixtures, showers, and other improvements.
