Hotel Occupancy Tax Fund

The Hotel Occupancy Tax Fund is used to account for revenues generated by collection of the Hotel Occupancy Tax. The state of Texas allows local governments to collect up to 7% of the cost of a hotel room in the form of the Hotel Occupancy Tax.
