This page contains a summary of all changes made to the proposed budget. The changes are presented in two categories:

• Appropriation Changes = Changes that impact the appropriations or the total dollars assigned by department or division
• Document Only = Changes that were made to correct administrative errors such as typographical errors or presentation errors that have no net dollar impact to the total budget

Appropriation Changes

• Increased revenue and expenditures for the Economic Development Corporation (EDC) due to approved budget changes by the EDC board
• Increased revenue and expenditures for the Brownfield Redevelopment Authority (BRA) due to approved budget changes by the BRA board

• Increased holiday sponsorship revenue for Downtown Economic Growth Authority (DEGA) and holiday contractual expenses prior to board review
• City Commission approved the full time equivalent position for the FFE Executive Director effective January 1, 2023. This change is not reflected in the position charts and graphs.

January 3, 2023

• Increased the City Manager's General Fund budget by $65,000 for early childhood initiatives in 2023
• Increased the ARPA budget by $60,000 under youth initiatives for early childhood in 2023.

Document Only Changes

January 12, 2023

• Updated the fund balance calculation (1.09 projected fund balance), general fund five year plan (4.00 general fund - five year plan) and general fund projection charts (1.06 Budget Overview) to reflect appropriation changes noted above on January 3rd
• Updated the revenue and expenditure charts and tables on the following pages to reflect appropriation changes noted above on January 3rd:
