Measuring Our Core Business Services (2024-2025)
Together we proudly enhance the quality of life for our community.
Our Core Business Services
Core Business Services are the essential functions that ensure Ipswich thrives and meets the needs of our community. These are the activities carried out by all employees, from maintaining roads and collecting waste to managing city libraries, processing development applications, engaging with stakeholders, and supporting various other services.
These efforts are crucial in making Ipswich a livable city for residents and an appealing destination for visitors.
While these activities may occur daily, weekly, or monthly, they remain fundamental to the success of our city. It is vital that our Core Business Services align with our strategic goals and are guided by our corporate plan, iFuture, which defines what we do and why we do it.
Overall our services are led by our purpose statement of “together we proudly enhance the quality of life for our community” while helping us achieve the community’s vision of Ipswich – A City of Opportunity For All – Join Us.
Council provides information about Core Business Services in each year’s Annual Plan. You can view Council’s latest Annual Plan here. You can read the specific Core Business Services section of the plan here. You can also view the previous financial year's data on the Hub by clicking here.
