Purpose & General Information
The purpose of this page is to provide the Board of Commissioners, Executive Leadership and the interested public with year-to-date revenue and expenditure totals by fund. The amounts in these reports are updated each business evening from our financial system. These amounts will change as the Finance Department posts journal entries, payments and receipts. Only audited annual financial statements should be relied upon for decision making purposes. Audited financial statements can be found here.
Please note, many revenues collected by the County are one to two months behind as they come from other governments or agencies and are sent after those agencies complete monthly reconciliations. Those revenues are posted when received and accrued at the end of the fiscal year. Some expenditures of the County are seasonal based upon tourism and recreation. It is important to understand the operations of the County and the revenue and expenditure cycles to fully understand these reports.
