Stormwater conveyance and water quality. This project will be the project prioritized as first on the updated stormwater CIP list identified in Phase 3 of the Stormwater Master Plan. As many of the projects are conveyance issues that cause flooding, it is expected the project will be a conveyance improvement project. However, the new list of projects will attempt to incorporate a water quality component, particularly if required by the City MS4 permit with the Colorado Department of Health and Environment (CDPHE) based on area of disturbance.

The project will follow the standard schedule of design in year 1 and construction in year 2. As such, 2023 will be the design phase and 2024 is anticipated for the construction phase.
