Initiate design for landside development adjacent to the Durango La-Plata County Airport terminal complex in alignment with the Airport Master Plan and Terminal Area Plan. This project will work to plan expansion of public vehicle parking areas, rental car lots and roadways as the terminal footprint expands, passenger traffic grows, and parking demand continues to increase.

This project is in alignment with the Strategic Plan objective of Ensuring an Effective Infrastructure Network. Specifically, the project addresses the aviation strategies of maintaining airport facilities in a safe efficient, and sustainable manner to support all forms of aviation services and Implementing the Airport Master Plan.
