Durango Trails-Trail 2000 Contract

Natural surface trails on City property

Project Information/Description

Contract started in 2021 with $25,000 allocated per year until 2025 for a total project cost of $125,000. Request from Durango Trails for $40,000 in 2023 to implement an annual work plan for new trail development and maintenance of existing trails within City open space. Work plan will be developed by City staff and Durango Trails prior to 2023 work season.

Project Details

Project benefit is to maintain and enhance the soft surface trail system through the partnership with Durango Trails which provides overall cost savings to the City of Durango.
