Employment & Economic Assistance - Financial Assistance Specialist II (FAS) positions

These positions will be used to aid in the management of increased caseloads due to the COVID Pandemic. This request could be eligible for ARP funds since they are time-limited.

The Financial Assistance Specialist position is vital to providing services and issuing Public Assistance programs to our low-income residents. Hiring these positions prepares E&EA to better manage our current workload and for a surge in public assistance applications and renewals due to the economic impacts as a result of the end of: COVID program waivers, eviction/utility shutoff moratorium and Federal Pandemic unemployment benefits.
