The mission of the Deputy Superintendent’s Office is to support continuous improvement of CPS academic programming that supports student engagement, provides rigor for every student in all content areas, and strengthens learning outcomes. The Deputy Superintendent’s Office provides leadership and support to the following departments: the Office of Equity, Inclusion and Belonging, the Office of Strategy, and the Information, Communications and Technology Services Department. In addition, the office is responsible for overseeing community partnership and Home Education Program requests.
