This budget funds 197 full time equivalent (FTE) employees across all departments and funds. This is a net gain of one full time employee in comparison to the 2022 budget authorizations. In 2023, the County is converting costs for contract Janitorial Services to pay and benefits for two additional employees in our Facilities Maintenance Department and eliminating one vacant administration position in Public Works.
Due to economic uncertainty as the County plans for 2023, no overhire positions are authorized in the coming year. Currently, none are filled so there will be no impact to any current employees.
