Who we are

The City Attorney’s Office provides high quality legal advice and representation to the City Council, to City Boards and Commissions, and City staff. The City Attorney’s Office also prepares the City’s ordinances, legislation, and legal documents, negotiates and reviews City contracts and agreements, manages litigation on behalf of and against the City, and assists in implementing the City’s policy and administrative programs to promote the economic and social well-being of the Concord community in a manner consistent with City Council goals and direction, and applicable legal requirements.
