Program Budget Overview
Description
- Provides oversight of the department work programs, policy development and implementation, strategic and community planning, implementation of Housing initiatives, Human Services and Homelessness Strategies, regional partnership development and coordination, finance and budget oversight, data management, and public communications.
Summary of 2024 Budget Enhancements/Realignments:
- The 2024 Budget for HHS' Administration Program includes a total realignment of $42,000 from other department programs into the centralized Administration Program, including funding for data analytics services and boards and commissions management.

- Objectives
- Cultivates a wide range of recreational, cultural, educational, civic, and social opportunities for all people regardless of their race, ethnicity, age, gender, sexual identity, ability, or socioeconomic status.
- Models stewardship, resilience, and sustainability of the city’s financial, human, information, and physical assets.
- Supports strategic decision-making with opportunities for accessible community engagement in multiple languages and timely and reliable data and analysis.
- Supports financial security, economic opportunity, and social mobility for all people regardless of their race, ethnicity, age, gender, ability, or socioeconomic status.
- Supports community members who are unhoused or underhoused to navigate systems, programs, and services to achieve housing security.

- The Operations Administration program supports all HHS Strategic Goals including those for Affordability and for Inclusion.
